19-Nov-2020: Today TDP has released first list of candidates for upcoming GHMC elections and Dandamudi Venkata Samrajyam got selected to contest from Vivekananda Nagar.
Oct-2011:
> She is the wife of Late TDP sitting Corporator Dandamudi Shobanadri.
> She has contested elections after the sudden demise of shobanadri during his tenure as the corporator.
> Even though the elections are bye elections congress has contested in this elections and took it to the pride but as TDP has strong cadre in kukatpally in the end samrajyam WON with a thumping majority than the Late Shobanadri.
> Indeed the primary opposition contestant Harish Reddy was also lost to Late Shobanadri with a 593 votes difference. Harish was contested in the 2009 GHMC elections as TDP rebel candidate and later joined in INC .
