29-Mar-2024: Today Gadwal Vijaya Laxmi along with her Father K Keshava Rao MP, Rajya Sabha met with Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and announced that they will join Congress Party Very soon.
10-Feb-2021: TRS has anounced Gadwal Vijaya Laxmi as its Mayor Candidate and Mothe Srilatha Shobhan Reddy as Deputy Mayor Candidate, Later today they both have elected respectively as Mayor and Deputy Mayor easily with the help of MIM Party.
10-Feb-2021: There are wide spread rumors going around that Gadwal Vijaya Laxmi is selected as the GHMC Mayor candidate by TRS Party. TRS Party already decided but yet to be revealed as number of corporators are in race. Today corporators will be meeting to select Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
18-Nov-2020: Today TRS has released first list of candidates for upcoming GHMC elections and Vijaya Laxmi will be contesting once again from Banjara Hills, She is also in race for Mayor post this time if TRS passes through majority as Mayor is reserved for Women.
Feb-2016: Vijaya Laxmi has won as a corporator with huge majority and there are wide speculations that her name would be considered for Mayor of GHMC.
Jul-2015: Vijaya Laxmi has joined in TRS in view of upcoming elections , As she is the daughter of Keshava Rao who is a close friend of Telangana CM KCR.
