08-Feb-2024:Baba Fasiuddin joined the Congress Party in presence of Telangana Congress in-charge, Deepa Das Munshi ji.
10-Feb-2021: TRS has anounced Gadwal Vijaya Laxmi as its Mayor Candidate and Mothe Srilatha Shobhan Reddy as Deputy Mayor Candidate, Later today they both have elected respectively as Mayor and Deputy Mayor easily with the help of MIM Party. Fasiuddin did not get a second chance as deputy Mayor.
18-Nov-2020: Today TRS has released first list of candidates for upcoming GHMC elections and Baba Fasiuddin will be contesting once again from Borabanda as TRS Candidate.
Feb-11-2016 : Baba Fasiuddin got Unanimously elected as GHMC Deputy Mayor by the corporators and co option members.
