Oct-27-2022: Samiji's affiliated with RSS/BJP approached TRS MLA's for joining into BJP Party. Rega Kantha Rao along with Rohit Reddy, Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy and Guvvala Balaraju from TRS Party were part of this meeting at a farm house near Hyderabad. Telangana Police with prior information from MLA's arrested 3 people for poaching MLA's with money.
07-Sep-2019 : Today Rega Kantha Rao got appointed as Whip of Telangana Government in Assembly.
06-Jun-2019:In a shocking political event in Telangana Rega Kantha Rao along with other 11 Congress Party MLA's went to Speaker home and gave letter to merge Congress Legislature Party in TRS, Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy approved the same.
03-Mar-2019: Rega Kantha Rao along with Atram Sakku other congress MLA in a press note informed that they want to support TRS Government by leaving congress party.
2014: As part of aliance Pinapaka ticket was given to CPI in 2014 elections, Rega from congress party supported CPI candidate.
