Political Career:

Jan 08, 2024: Kesineni Swetha along with Her father Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani decided to leave TDP. Swetha also submitted her resignation as 11th Division Corporator. They both might join YSRCP soon.

Mar 14, 2021: Though Swetha won as a corporator, YSRCP Won majority of the corporator seats in Vijayawada corporation.

March 04, 2021: Today TDP announced Kesineni Swetha as its Mayor candidate for Vijayawada Muncipality in upcoming elections.

March 12, 2020: Filed nomination as a corporator candiate of TDP from 11th Division in Vijawada Muncipal Elections.

2016: She was founding member of Students for Hillary Georgia Chapter, which is responsible for Community Mobilisation and on-ground activation, Fundraising, Digital Media Promotion and Event organisation for Hillary Clinton of Democratic Party in 2016 US Presidential Elections.

2014: She worked as a community outreach intern for Georgia Senator elections of David Perdue from Republican party.
